On August 10, 1957 (JD) John Daniel Rogers was born. On April 23, 2014 at age 56 to his Heavenly Father he returned. He thanks all the nurses, staff, doctors, and friend Dewayne, for the 3 ½ years the cancer they detained. His parents are Donna Gwen Olson and James Marcel Rogers. He has three sisters and one brother he loves so much. In the Manti Temple Lisa Johnson became his wife, and together they will have eternal life. He graduated from the U of U and ever since has been a proud Ute. JD started as a seminary teacher, but left the job he loved to be a Real Estate Appraiser. Through hard work and patience, he earned his S.R.A. license. He worked very hard and many long days, so his beloved family would be okay...

Chanting for gun-law reform and reduced firearm violence, an estimated 2,000-plus students marched to City Hall Friday morning as part of nationwide school walkouts.
The Houston Youth Walkout, believed to be the largest local out-of-class gathering to mark the April 20 protests, attracted students from across the region for a 1.2-mile march.
